I.E.A (Incheon Economics Alliance) is an investment and economics alliance of undergraduates from Incheon and the capital region. We meet every Friday from 18:00 to 20:00 for a seminar, each team covers a sector and writes it up, and we run the club fund ourselves.
There are three. FLOW runs the club fund as a live portfolio, TUTOR mentors middle and high school students in Incheon on economics and finance, and STAT builds quant and data investment models in R.
Students from eight universities: Incheon National University, Inha University, Hanyang University ERICA, Gachon University, Ghent University Global Campus, the University of Utah Asia Campus, SUNY Korea and George Mason University Korea.
A new cohort forms every semester. Cohort 1 began in spring 2024, and cohort 6 is active now (autumn 2026). The next dates are posted on the Recruiting page and on Instagram @iea_incheon as soon as they are set.
Incheon's emblem draws a city that holds the sea, a circle and a wave.
I.E.A begins from that form.
The circle is the edge of a city, and the single ring one cohort forms.
As the wave curls from the outside inward, this circle draws in what was scattered.
The Incheon emblem is the official symbol of Incheon Metropolitan City. The two are not officially affiliated.
